Children are our future and the planet's, to celebrate the Children’s Day, Accor Regional Office Jakarta invited #SayaPilihBumi (an Environmental Community) to our ATFAC Sanggar to share about the problem of Plastic also how to reduce the plastic waste in their everyday life.
The children were very interest to the presentation from Mas Denny (#SayaPilihBumi)
He explained about how much damage plastic causes to the earth nowadays, and what we can do to prevent it. We did a Question and Answer session after the presentation.
In the end of the session, they made an upcycle bag using the old shirt we collected from staffs. They decorate the upcycle bag and personalize it with ribbon, name and drawing so they can use it everyday to school / market.
We hope that after the event, the children can respect the earth more and try their best to live a less-waste life.
