Achievement in Social Activity

In 2001, Accor Hotels started the Annual Green Day in which the hotels raise the staff awareness to actively involve in cleaning program in Bogor Botanical Garden

Starting in 2001 visiting Children’s houses to monitor the families and children condition is implemented

As of 2001 all hotels are encouraged to involve their foster children in the National Festive Celebration

The Solidarity Day, a day where Accor’ Employee sharing with the unfortunate is started in 2006, by giving all ATFAC children school supplies

A regular blood donation is scheduled by the hotels in coordination with the Red Cross to help the unfortunates

In 2007, Accor Employees raised fund to provide ATFAC children with the “soccer uniforms”, “music instruments”, “Plants” and “Decoration Items” for them to start their hobbies club

The Solidarity Day of December 2008 has marked a very strong bond between the parents and the Accor Management. For the 1st time all parents are invited to the hotel where they are presented with the long term objective of ATFAC.

In 2009, Monthly Sembako (nine basic food item) are started to be given to each families.

What has been achieved in Fund Raising

· Recycling program & Guest Donations.

All Accors hotels implement the commitment to utilize recyclable items to raise funds from selling cardboards, used newspapers and magazines, bottles, can, plastics, etc. A specific donation box has been placed in all hotels for guests donations. Total Funds raised from these activities during 2003-2005 are US$ 8.700,-

Launching of Accor Green Day & ‘A Tree for A Child’ Program

- The two events took place on 14th February 2001

- The Green Day has involved around 500 members of Management and Staff of Accor Hotels in Jabotabek area in Cleaning the Bogor Botanical Garden
